SAVKA

The Savka Platform, located in the Kazanlı region of Mersin and operated by Savka Platform and Pipeline Construction Management & Transportation Inc., is one of the few facilities of its kind in Turkey and the Mediterranean region. With an offshore platform measuring 235 metres in length, Savka stands out with its infrastructure capable of handling the loading and unloading operations of two vessels simultaneously. Vessels with a deadweight tonnage of 85,000 DWT can berth at the platform, which has a berthing depth of −12 metres. There are 46 tanks with a total capacity of 210,000 m³ in the East and West storage areas. Equipped with pipelines (10‘, 12’, 14‘ and 16’) used for the transfer of petroleum and vegetable oil products, the Savka Platform occupies a critical position in the regional logistics chain with its strategic location and uninterrupted service approach.

At port facility, we handle Dangerous Liquid Bulk Cargoes (Petroleum and Petroleum Products) including Gasoline UN 1203, Diesel UN 1202, Jet Fuel UN 1863, Kerosene UN 1223, UN 1268 Naphtha, and Vegetable Oils under the IBC Code.

Pilotage is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the port or anchoring at the locations specified below. The service is provided by the Coastal Safety and is available 24 hours a day. VHF channels 16 and 12.

Tugs are cumpolsory provided by the MEDMARINE.
