About NERGIS PORT

Located on the Mediterranean coast of Mersin, in the Kazanlı region, the Nergis Petroleum Terminal Buoy Facility is a modern infrastructure consisting of a single buoy, designed to meet the logistical needs related to liquid petroleum products. The facility has a capacity of approximately 154,650 m³, and tanker berthing and fuel transfer operations are carried out via the buoy system through a pipeline. It operates with a vessel acceptance capacity of 25,000 DWT and a standard length of approximately 180 metres. Operating within the framework of safety, dangerous cargo handling procedures and environmental protection standards (IMDG/ISGOTT), the terminal is currently a critical link in the region's energy fuel distribution chain.

Pilotage

Pilotage is compulsory for mooring and unmooring, day or night. The pilot will meet vessels in the anchorage area 2 miles south of the end of the quay. After the vessel has berthed, the Pilot/Loading Master remains on board and requires a separate cabin. The service provided by Coastal Safety.

Tug

Tugboats are available and provided by Coastal Safety.
