MMK PORT

MMK Metalurji Port, located in Dörtyol, Hatay, serves as the maritime gateway for MMK’s integrated steel facilities and stands among the most advanced private ports in Turkey’s Eastern Mediterranean. The port plays a central role in handling raw materials for steel production as well as exporting finished steel products to global markets.

Technically, the facility offers a total quay length of around 1,800 meters and water depths reaching –13.5 to –14 meters, allowing the safe mooring of vessels up to 100,000 DWT. With multiple berths of varying capacities—including larger berths for bulk carriers and smaller ones for general cargo vessels—the port can accommodate up to 12 ships simultaneously. This versatility enables MMK to manage both large-scale raw material imports and diverse export shipments efficiently.

Strategically positioned on the Mediterranean coast, MMK Metalurji Port combines modern infrastructure with significant handling capacity, making it a vital hub for industrial logistics and international trade in the region.

Pilotage is compulsory for mooring and unmooring and provided by MEDMARINE.

Three tugboats are available compulsory for ships entering and leaving the port of IPRAGAZ. Service provided by MEDMARINE.
