ASSAN PORT

Assan Port, founded in 2010 by Kibar Holding through Assan Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş., is a modern port terminal located in İskenderun, Hatay. Serving container, general cargo, project cargo, and dry bulk ships, the terminal acts as a key maritime gateway for southeastern Turkey and trade with the Middle East.

The port features two quays of 2 × 340 m plus a 30 m dolphin extension, with water depths from 16 m to 19 m to accommodate Panamax, Post-Panamax, and even Super Post-Panamax class vessels. Its design supports vessels up to 350 m LOA, 15.5 m draft, and ~175,000 DWT under favorable conditions.

Assan Port has a designed annual container capacity of 250,000 TEU, while general cargo throughput is around 1,000,000 tons/year. It also offers Ro-Ro ramp service, 24/7 security, and full terminal support services (vessel services, cargo handling, bonded / free zones).

With this blend of depth, berth length, modern equipment, and strategic location in the eastern Mediterranean, Assan Port plays a pivotal role in Turkey’s southern trade routes and regional logistics network.

It is compulsory for ships entering and leaving the port. It is provided by the ANKAS.

Three tugboats are available compulsory for ships entering and leaving the port of ASSANPORT Service provided by UZMAR.
