YALOVA RORO

Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal (Yalova Ro-Ro Terminali A.Ş.) is one of Turkey’s modern roll-on/roll-off ports, established to facilitate automotive, trailer, truck, and general ro-ro freight traffic. -Located in Yalova (coordinates ~ 41° 41′ 25.34″ N, 29° 25′ 52.75″ E) it operates under the jurisdiction of the Yalova Regional Port Authority.

The terminal features three ramps (Rampa 1, 2, and 3), each 300 meters in length. Ramp 1 has a quay width of 35 m, while ramps 2 and 3 (dolphin ramps) are 42 m wide. Depth at the berths is around 10 meters. y The total quayside length is 300 m (for the main berth) plus the additional dolphin moorings.

In terms of capacity and operations, the terminal handles up to 150,000 vehicles per year, with a total port area (customs/bonded) of ~ 135,000 m² and closed warehouse space ~ 14,000 m². All operations involving dangerous goods are conducted in conformity with regulations (IMDG, TL.81.10.04, etc.), and the terminal publishes a dedicated Dangerous Goods Handling Guide.

With its specialized ramps, sufficient depth, and logistical infrastructure, Yalova Ro-Ro Terminal serves as a strategic gateway for vehicle imports/exports and ro-ro traffic in the Marmara region.
