OPAY PLATFORM

The OPAY Platform represents a strategic joint venture between OPET and Lukoil, serving as an advanced offshore marine terminal designed to support oil and gas operations in deep-water environments. This collaborative project combines OPET's regional expertise with Lukoil's international technological capabilities in hydrocarbon processing.

The facility features a robust 240-meter integrated platform structure with a dedicated berthing system capable of accommodating offshore support vessels (OSVs) up to 120 meters in length, with a maximum operational draft of 8.5 meters. The platform's deck is engineered to handle dynamic loads of up to 15 tons/m² and is equipped with a 50-ton knuckle boom crane for efficient cargo transfer operations.

The terminal integrates advanced hydrocarbon processing systems developed through the OPET-Lukoil partnership, including two-stage separation units with a capacity of 25,000 barrels per day (bpd), produced water treatment systems, and gas compression modules. The platform's utilities include a 5 MW power generation plant, seawater injection pumps, and living quarters for 80 personnel.

Safety systems, reflecting both companies' commitment to operational excellence, comprise comprehensive fire and gas detection networks, emergency shutdown (ESD) systems, and lifeboat installations compliant with SOLAS regulations. The platform operates under the joint safety standards of both OPET and Lukoil, maintaining 24/7 operations in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.

Continuous coordination with maritime authorities is maintained via VHF Channel 16 and satellite communication systems, with the platform serving as a crucial hub for well intervention, production testing, and offshore logistics support for both companies' regional operations.
