MARTAS PORT

MARTAS Port is a key maritime facility located on Turkey's southern Mediterranean coast, serving as a vital hub for regional trade and logistics. The port features approximately 550 meters of operational quay length with three main berths capable of accommodating vessels up to 180 meters in length. The maximum allowable draft is 11.5 meters, supporting ships up to 20,000 DWT.

The terminal is equipped with two modern gantry cranes with 40-ton lifting capacity each, supplemented by mobile harbor cranes for general cargo operations. Bulk handling capabilities include a conveyor system with 400-ton/hour capacity. Storage infrastructure includes 15,000 m² of covered warehouse space and 35,000 m² of open storage area, with dedicated zones for containers, bulk materials, and general cargo.

Operating 24/7 with an annual handling capacity of 2.5 million tons, MARTAS Port handles diverse cargo types including agricultural products, construction materials, and containerized goods. The facility offers comprehensive services including customs clearance, cargo consolidation, and truck loading operations. Vessel coordination is managed through VHF Channel 16, with specific working channels assigned upon arrival.

Key features include direct access to the D400 highway, on-site weighing facilities, and reefer container plugs. The port maintains full compliance with ISPS security standards, featuring perimeter security systems, 24/7 surveillance, and automated access control.
