Gemport Port is one of the country's leading private sector port operators, located in Gemlik, Bursa. Operating 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, the port specializes in container, general cargo, and Ro-Ro cargo. The quay length is approximately 2,050 meters, with depths ranging from 12 to 36 meters, allowing large tonnage ships to dock. Gemport's container handling capacity is 600,000 TEU per year, while its general cargo capacity is around 10 million tons. The terminal area is spacious (approximately 1,250,000 m²) and stands out in the sector in terms of equipment diversity, with both open and closed storage areas.

Restrictions

Mooring operations for vessels carrying dangerous cargo are carried out during daylight hours with the assistance of pilots and tugs. Mooring at night may be permitted for vessels carrying dangerous cargo in certain circumstances, such as weather conditions, the vessel's maneuverability, and the vessel's arrival conditions.
