Efesanport, located in Dilovası, Kocaeli, is a multi-purpose terminal operated by Efesan Demir Sanayi & Ticaret. It handles general cargo, dry bulk, project loads, and Ro-Ro vehicle operations.
Technically, Efesanport features:
- A total quay / mooring length of about 450 meters at the main pier with depths between 9 to 24 meters, enabling vessel access up to 50,000 DWT
- A secondary quay (rıhtım) of about 340 meters with depths from 5 to 7.5 meters
- On the storage side, it offers both open and closed areas: adjacent to quay and pier it has a 20,000 m² bonded open storage, another 12,500 m² bonded open area located 200 m away, and a 77,000 m² multi-story and 35,000 m² open customs vehicle park for vehicles
- Handling capacity: annually ~ 3,000,000 tons of general, dry bulk and project cargo, as well as 300,000 vehicles via Ro-Ro operations
- Equipment: three Terex Fuchs 880XL cranes, one Liebherr LHM 180, one Sennebogen 3300, one Sennebogen 850, and one Gottwald HMK 300E among the key lifting assets
Positioned just 1 km from the D-100 (E-5) road and 2 km from the TEM highway, and about 55 km from Istanbul and 40 km from Kocaeli, Efesanport enjoys excellent hinterland connectivity.
With its mix of deep quay sections, versatile storage and vehicle handling, and modern equipment, Efesanport serves as a strong logistics hub for industrial and vehicle export/import operations in the Marmara region.
