COLAKOGLU PORT

Colakoğlu Port, operated by Çolakoğlu Metalurji in Dilovası / Kocaeli, is a dedicated industrial terminal primarily serving the steel and metal sector. It handles general cargo and dry bulk materials—such as iron and steel products, scrap metal, and raw materials—for both domestic use and export

In terms of technical capacity, the port covers about 23,000 m², with a total quay length of 730 meters and a maximum permissible draft of 25 meters. The port is ISPS-certified and holds a Dangerous Goods Handling Certificate. 1 Its handling capacity ranges from 6.5 to 7.5 million tons per year.

Strategically located adjacent to the Çolakoğlu production facilities, the port ensures tight integration between manufacturing and maritime logistics—offering efficient loading, unloading, and storage tailored to the needs of heavy industry.

Pilotage is compulsory for vessels entering or leaving the port or anchoring at the locations specified below. The service is provided by the ANKAS and is available 24 hours a day. VHF channels 16 and 12.

Four tugs are available, including at weekends, providing 24-hour provided by the Port Authority.
