AYGAZ

Aygaz Ambarlı Terminal, located in the Ambarlı Port Complex in Istanbul, is a dedicated LPG storage and handling facility designed for safe, efficient marine operations. According to its Dangerous Cargo Handling Guide, its pipelines and storage tanks are engineered to operate between –10 °C and +50 °C, ensuring thermal stability under variable conditions. The terminal implements continuous monitoring of cargo temperature, and in case of cryogenic product operations, pre-heating systems are activated to prevent the cargo temperature from dropping below –5 °C during offloading.

For emergencies, the facility follows strict protocols: automatic control systems, gas detectors, and protective equipment must remain operational; ship and berth separation in critical cases is regulated through joint decision with Port Authority and terminal management.

Strategically placed within the Ambarlı port cluster — approximately 34 km from central Istanbul — the Aygaz terminal benefits from proximity to major transport corridors and integration with the larger Ambarlı logistics hub.
