SAMSUNPORT

Samsunport (Samsun International Port Management) is the largest port on Turkey’s Black Sea coast, located in Samsun and operated in cooperation with TCDD. It supports container, general cargo and Ro-Ro operations, all managed via a port automation system. The terminal spans approximately 445,000 m², with covered warehouses, CFS areas, and extensive storage zones.

Its piers (Nos. 1–5) have a combined length of 776 m and depth of about 10.5 m; Pier 6 has depth 7 m; Piers 7–9 extend ~400 m with depth ~7.5 m. The industrial piers (Nos. 10–12) offer depths up to 12 m. s Protected by breakwaters, the port is well-equipped for diverse vessel traffic in the Black Sea region.

Pilotage is compulsory for mooring and unmooring and provided by SAMSUNPORT.
