SAMSUN AYGAZ PORT

Samsun Aygaz Terminal is a specialized liquid bulk facility located in the Tekkeköy district of Samsun, on Turkey’s Black Sea coast. It operates under Aygaz A.Ş. and handles LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) via dedicated marine infrastructure. The terminal is equipped with a berth/pier capable of mooring an LPG tanker with dimensions up to about 13 m water depth and 18,000 DWT vessel size. The facility includes pipelines for both gas and liquid phases, extending approximately 1,270 m, to connect ship manifolds to onshore storage and processing systems. Samsun Aygaz maintains a “Dangerous Goods Handling Guide” in compliance with international safety norms, including procedures for cold/hot work, emergency response, equipment readiness and communication protocols. It is also recognized in Turkish “Safe Ports / ISPS” listings under the name “Aygaz Samsun Terminal.” Situated in a strategic coastal location, the terminal plays a key role in supplying gas-based energy and industrial feeds to the Black Sea region and beyond, while adhering to rigorous safety and operational standards.
