HOPAPORT

Hopaport, located in Artvin province on Turkey’s northeastern Black Sea coast, operates under Park Denizcilik & Hopa Port Management (Park Denizcilik ve Hopa Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş.). The port features a diversified quay infrastructure including: a 215 m ore & liquid berth with –9.5 m draft, a 38 m Ro-Ro berth at –5.5 m, and several general cargo quays (e.g. 190 m at –10 m, others at –9.5 m) Its tank terminal supports storage of petroleum products with independent pipelines and multiple filling arms.

Hopaport provides services for general, bulk, liquid, Ro-Ro, and container cargoes, supported by open and covered storage facilities (e.g. closed warehouses ~18,220 m²), and a tank terminal capacity around 38,000 m³ As Turkey’s easternmost port, Hopaport uniquely doubles as both a maritime gateway and a border interface—being in proximity to the Sarp land border and facilitating trade flows to the Caucasus, Iran, Central Asia, and beyond. With an automated TOS system integrated with vehicle gate control (99% uptime) and certifications like “Green Port,” Hopaport positions itself as a modern, reliable logistics hub in Turkey’s Black Sea network.
