About BARTIN PORT

Bartin Port (UN/LOCODE: TRBTN) is a general-purpose coastal terminal on Turkey’s southern Black Sea shore, handling breakbulk and dry bulk cargos around the clock. The port boasts a quay length of approximately 480 m, with operational depths reaching up to 7.0 m (some sources give a draft limit up to 7.5 m) at the berths.

Bartın handles commodities like steel products, lime, logs and flour, and operates under restrictions that exclude vessels carrying dangerous cargoes. The port offers year-round service, with pilotage, mooring and tug assistance. Located between latitude.

With its modest draft and quay dimensions, Bartın Port is best suited for medium-size vessels meeting its technical constraints. Its strategic position on the Black Sea makes it a key regional node for the export and import of bulk and general cargo from northern Anatolia.
