IGSAS PORT

İGSAŞ Port is an integrated dry-bulk and liquid/chemical marine terminal located in the Körfez district of Kocaeli Province, Türkiye, on the İzmit Gulf. The terminal is operated by İGSAŞ (İstanbul Gübre Sanayii A.Ş.), one of Türkiye's leading nitrogen-fertilizer producers and part of Yıldızlar Yatırım Holding. Strategically positioned in the Marmara region, the port primarily serves the raw-material imports and product exports of the group's companies — with the holding's own vessel, M/V Yıldızlar 2, enabling faster and more economical access to raw-material sources — while also providing services to third parties.

Berths: Built on a total area of 20,953 m², the terminal comprises 7 berths organized into two main sections, the Main Jetty (Ana İskele) and the Stone Jetty (Taş İskele). The layout includes a 375 m finger pier, shore-connected, with a 3-hook mooring buoy positioned 35 m off the pier. The facility can accommodate vessels of up to 70,000 DWT.

Cargo Handling: With an annual handling capacity of 3,000,000 metric tons, the terminal manages dry bulk cargo (fertilizer raw materials and industrial inputs) as well as liquid and chemical cargo, supporting efficient loading and discharge (tahmil/tahliye) operations for both import and export flows.
