About DP WORLD

DP World Yarımca (also branded “DP World Evyap” after its merger) is one of Turkey’s most advanced maritime terminals, located in the Gulf of İzmit (Kocaeli). serves as a major container, liquid, general cargo and multimodal logistics hub, connecting sea, rail, and road networks.

Technical & Operational Highlights

The terminal has a total 2091 meters of quay length across 5 berths with depths reaching up to 16 meters.
Its container handling capacity is 2 million TEU per year, and it also handles up to 1.12 million tons of liquid cargo.
The liquid cargo capacity is augmented by the Körfez terminal portion, which handles 1.12 million tons of liquid bulk operations.
The terminal area is about 725,000 m², and combined with the Evyapport side, the facility operates 1,3 million TEU scale (container terminal in İzmit Gulf).
It supports simultaneous service of up to 4 vessels at its piers.
Equipment includes eight remote-controlled STS (ship-to-shore) cranes, 24 remote E-RTG cranes, and over 58 terminal tractors.

With its deep draft berths, modern terminal technologies, and strong multimodal linkages, DP World Yarımca is poised as a pivotal trade gateway in Türkiye’s maritime network, particularly for the Marmara and industrial inland regions.

Restrictions

At DP WORLD Yarımca Container Terminal, Packaged Dangerous Goods and Fumigated cargo units are handled in accordance with TYUB. The acceptance of UN2556 and UN2557 substances belonging to Class 1, Class 6.2, Class 7, and Class 4.1 is prohibited at the DP World Terminal.
