YESILYURT PORT

Yesilyurt Port, located in the Tekkekoy district of Samsun (coordinates 41°14′45″ N, 36°26′36″ E), operates under Yesilyurt Demir Celik ve Liman Isletmeleri. The port serves as a regional hub for bulk (dry) and general cargo operations, leveraging its strategic position near rail lines, major highways, and the Black Sea coastline.

Its total area spans approximately 210,000 m², with a storage/yard area of 115,000 m² and covered warehouses covering around 33,000 m².The port’s quay system measures about 950 meters in total length, and it is reported to accommodate depths up to –20 meters, enabling access for sizeable vessels.

Yesilyurt Port is equipped with a diverse range of cargo-handling machinery including STS / mobile cranes (capacity range ~15 to 180 tons) and forklifts (5 to 17 tons) to support efficient loading/unloading operations. The facility’s terminal infrastructure also includes bonded and non-bonded zones, customs facilities, and logistics support services, along with full ISPS / port security compliance.

Strategically 15 km from Samsun city center and sited within an industrial zone, Yesilyurt Port is positioned to serve both domestic and international trade routes across the Black Sea, contributing to the integration of Turkey’s steel, manufacturing and export sectors.
