KARASU PORT

IC Karasu Port is a modern multipurpose terminal on Turkey’s Black Sea coast, operated by IC İçtaş. handles Ro-Ro, general cargo, bulk, container, and project shipments, serving as a strategic gateway for trade between the Marmara and Black Sea regions.

On a 250,000 m² site, IC Karasu has 3 berths and 1 dolphin jetty, with a draft of 11 meters. Its current Phase-1 capacity includes 1.8 million tons of general / bulk cargo and 65,000 TEU (including Ro-Ro) annually. Plans for expansion foresee a 5 million ton general / bulk capacity, 150,000 TEU, and 110,000 vehicle (Ro-Ro) capacity upon full build-out.

KarasuPort’s road and future rail links connect it to the industrial hinterlands of Sakarya and Kocaeli, helping divert traffic pressure from Istanbul and reduce logistic times.

Highly engineered, cryogenic arms that connect the carrier's tanks to the onshore pipeline system. These arms are designed to handle the extremely low temperatures of LNG (-162°C) and ensure a leak-proof transfer.

Strategically positioned near Istanbul’s industrial belt, the Gebze Terminal integrates maritime logistics with inland distribution networks, playing a vital role in fuel supply chains across the Marmara region and beyond.
