ALPET SAMSUN PORT

Alpet Samsun Terminal, operated by Altınbas Petrol (Alpet), is a strategic liquid bulk facility located in the Tekkeköy district of Samsun on Turkey’s Black Sea coast. Designed primarily for the handling and storage of petroleum products, the terminal provides mooring infrastructure for fuel tankers through a buoy and jetty system, enabling the safe transfer of liquid cargo between vessels and onshore storage. Recognized as an ISPS-compliant “Safe Port” facility by the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the terminal meets international standards for port security and dangerous goods handling.

The facility supports marine fuel logistics with pipeline connections linking berths to inland storage tanks, ensuring both efficient cargo discharge and reliable supply chain continuity. With its location in Samsun—a regional hub for Black Sea trade routes—the terminal plays a key role in meeting the energy needs of northern Anatolia and in supporting maritime distribution for petroleum and fuel products. By combining modern infrastructure, international safety certifications, and operational expertise, Alpet Samsun Terminal strengthens Turkey’s liquid bulk logistics capacity and provides a secure gateway for regional and international energy trad.
